my computer has been working fine, and then i got a soundcard and put it in my comp, turned it on and happy to see it detected a multimedia audio controller. so i put in the CD to install the driver and my comp turns off.

i check to see the plugs are in correctly and the power outlet, but still does not turn on. check to see the soundcard is still inputted, it is.

this is the first time workin with a computer's inside, so i may need a little in-depth explanantion.
