Here are acceptable voltages from your three main rails on a power supply:
Power supply output range must be +/- 5% from the stated voltage:
Stated
Voltage…..Lowest……Highest
+12v…,..,,,,..11.4….……12.6
+5v…….....…..4.75……..…5.25
+3.3v……......3.134…..….3.465
However, that does not mean there is enough AMPERAGE being put out to do what you want to do. It also does not matter what they put on the side of the power supply for amperage, it has other facets that have a profound affect upon the amperage. For example, the efficiency rating will alter the stated amperage if the efficieny rating is not very high. Active and passive PFC makes a difference in the kind of power that is put out and some power supplies (the cheaper ones) don't have PFC as a feature. These details give us a good idea how strong and clean the power to your computer is being delivered..
I am a little concerned about the power supply you have purchased. Correct me if I am mistaken, but isn't this power supply made in China? If so, it most likely won't do the job for you. There is no substitute for a good brand name power supply. I just wish you would have looked at Enermax, Silverstone, Fortron, Seasonic, Antec, etc....just a great brand name power supply although a great power supply does cost a few bucks more....the bottom line and differing quanatative feature that they have is.....THEY WORK!
