Before you go taking drastic measures like reformatting, there are a few possible solutions that we can try, but we will need alittle more information...

1. Do have an anti-virus program installed? If so, what one is it?

2. When was the last time that you updated it, and ran a full system scan?

Answer these two questions; then we can proceed.
