Hi dagul,
Yes, ZoneAlarm might do that. Or even your Avast. Or Windows Defender.
Try disabling ZA (temporarily) and see if you can use Panda. If that doesn't work, then disable Avast (temporarily) and try Panda again. Do the same for Windows Defender.
If the above didn't work, then please try this next.
Please open
Notepad and copy and paste the text present
inside the code box below (don't forget to copy and paste REGEDIT4 as well):
Code:
REGEDIT4
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ActiveX Compatibility\{9a9307a0-7da4-4daf-b042-5009f29e09e1}]
Save this as
fix.reg and change the "
Save as type" to "
All Files" and place it on your desktop.
It should look like this:
Double-click on it and when it asks you if you want to merge the contents to the registry, click "
Yes" or "
OK". You should receive a message that it was successful.
In case you still are unsure on how to create a REG file, please take a look
HERE with screenshots.
REBOOT afterwards.... really important!
Then try Panda again. Let's see if this works.
