Try starting it in safe mode-Tap F8 repeatedly after turning it on-when you get to the safe mode menu-there should be an advanced startup option to "disable automatic restart"
Instead of rebooting, the computer will stop and hopefully generate an error message.
Also try starting it in safe mode (not the advanced option as indicated above)
If you make any progress, try connecting to an external monitor or tv output
to see if it's the video card, drivers or display and post back
