A SMART error is an indicator that your hard drive is failing, as you can tell by the attribute values above. Your data should be backed up as soon as possible and your hard drive replaced. Keep in mind that your test program is getting the values from the hard drive itself - the hard drive electronics are recording how many times it has a problem with itself and reports it through SMART.
