Well, you try not to leave the battery fully charged because it can decalibrate it. LiIon batteries tend to drain the final 2 cells before the others when left alone like that on a full charge. On a 70-80% charge, those are already drained and the new drainage will occur on the first cells, respectively. Reclibration usually completely discharges all of the cells and charges them up again. It is also known as reconditioning.
