The PC does detect the drive.

Well there is also another problem.. I get this wierd sound, which is lik in tune.. I try giving the beat of it..

click, clickity clickity clickity click..

Like that several times on end, and it freezes the computer in that way too..

Also I have noticed in my Task Manager, that the CPU usage has become very eratic for the first 5 minutes after start up..

What about the jumper settings and stuff? How can I check them?

My hard drive number is ST3200826AS ... I searched but had many different makes..
