Go to this link. support.wdc.com/download/ You need “data lifeguard diagnostic for dos”- there’s a floppy version and a cd version-take your pick-they both do the same thing. This is what you need to zero the drive

Then you will need Data Lifeguard Tools 11.2 for DOS to partition and format the drive

Then install XP
