bumping, any other suggestions or do you still think this may be Norton-related?
However, that's odd that I can no longer change my homepage, even after uninstalling Norton. When it's uninstalled, it still keeps the same norton site as my homepage, just without the Norton program notification window pop up mentioning the blocking of a homepage change.
