The temps are a bit warm you should be seeing in the range of 37c at idle and 50c under full load.

At 55c I don't think that would trigger it , if you see temps in the 60's that could.

Because of the error try updating to the latest video driver or if you already have the latest try reinstalling it to see if it helps then we will work on the temps.

It sounds like you all ready did but make sure the inside of the case is clean of dust
