Problems with Duel channel Ram

im running an AMD 64fx 3800+ on a SL-K890Pro-939

it supports duel channel ram. I have 1G of Corsair XMS (2x512mb).

Ive ran duel channel for about 8 months. All of a sudden, my pc starts crashing. At first, i removed one stick and it worked. using the process of elimination, i found out that neither stick was messed up. I have tried to flash my bios, but the soltek site has been down, and i cant find the bios anywhere. this problem started out of nowhere, so i doubt the bios needs to be flashed, anyways... There has been no big hardware change lately. i thought that maybe the heat was causing a problem, and maybe my cpu was reaching the threshold, but i got some dust off and went to school on it... nothing. So ive ran out of ideas. ive been thinking about simply reformatting because maybe it was a windows update or something stupid that triggered this.

Any help would be very appreciated.
