Hi

I've had student editions of Microsoft Office, but I didn't think that they did such versions of operating systems. The student editions that I have bought have been identical to the normal versions, and they have no expiry date or bits missing.
When I bought mine, there was no CD in the box, just a form to fill in and send to Holland. The form simply asked for proof that I qualified for the student version - a signature from a college tutor or school teacher was all that was needed. A few days after sending this off, I received the CDs in the mail. The only cosmetic difference in the product is that the CD sleeves are printed in black and white, rather than colour. It seems that Microsoft are happy to do deals for students at a cut rate.

Hope this helps
