I use a Logitec wingman extreeme force feedback.

Here's what I can tell you.

There are two types of plug in popular use on joysticks one being USB the other is a Midi plug.

Midi plugs are what e call 15 pin D connectors. Look on the back of your PC somewhere down by the sound speaker and MIC connections. you should see a corresponding outlet for the joystick plug.
