Hello everyone,

I've just built a system with an ASUS P5VDC-X motherboard, Pentium D940 3.2Ghz processor, 1Gb RAM, Hitachi HDD and a PNY GeForce FX5500 AGP graphics card. My problem is that I only get POST visuals on my monitor after I do a CMOS reset. I then get the F1 (enter Setup) or F2 (load BIOS defaults) options. If I enter setup and change settings such as the RTC, boot devices and primary graphics adapter and then Save and Exit the system restarts but with no video and no beeps indicating a problem. This has been driving me nuts for 2 weeks. I checked the battery and it is supplying the required 3V. Are there any BIOS settings to tweak to get this board/processor/AGP card combo to work?
