Help, PC won't load up.

Hi,

I have an Asus P5GDC-V Deluxe motherboard, and it was working fine for 2 years. So today, I went to shut down my PC from Windows XP, and accidently clicked "Stand By" intead of "Shut down".

But for some reason my PC just turned off automatically. So I was like "Whatever", and turned off the power bar. Later I went to turn my PC on, and there was no beep, no post, or anything, and my monitor was just a blank screen.

I unplugged the power, restarted the power supply, but still nothing.

Is my PC in a permanent state of "stand by"? Should I reset the bios? Or is my motherboard fried?

I tried putting the jumpers on the motherboard in the position of "Wake on S1 sleep mode" but still nothing.

Now I'm starting to regret accidently hitting the "stand by" button. I wish MS didn't put that button so close to "shut down". :(

Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advanced. :)
