Before you do anything else, create a folder for HijackThis and put it in a permanent folder (like C:\HJT) instead of the Temp folder. This is required because HijackThis will create backups and we don't want them to be deleted.


If you currently have any startups disabled with MSCONFIG, please re-enable them all. Do NOT reboot when it's requested.

After you've moved HijackThis.exe to it's own folder, please rename it to HJT.exe. Run a new scan with the renamed version, save the log and post it.
