I no longer hear the mouse tower beep, but it freezes up for a few seconds. then i regain control again. Also if I just let my aquarium screen saver run a while, it lags so bad the fish are swimming in super-slo-motion. Mother board and internal mechanisms are physically clean and all items are connected strongly and securely.

Could this be a power supply issue? Over heating? All fans are running as they should as well.
