Download and run sandra lite (free in my sig)

then copy and paste the system summary into this thread. Alsp copy and paste the system temps, system voltages into here as well.

Yes it is possible that CPU overheating will definelty make a system shutdown, we can ascertain this better once we see your system temps and volatages, and the system summary will shed some light on exact what memory you need. You should be able to buy memory on ebay for about $80.00 for two sticks of 512 dont know what your budget is but here is a simple summary

fortron PSU >>> $51.50
Video Card approx $50.00
Memory $80.00

or you can buy a single stick of memory now for $40.00 and add more later; you may also get lucky and get a used pair for substantially less, I have bought tons of used computer parts on ebay and have never had any problems; just let me know and I can help guide you on who to buy from and who to avoid.
