Ya... The original battery was a 6 cell, with a subwoofer built into it. I have no idea why Dell decided to do it this way, but they did. The subwoofer somehow connected to the audio chip. It sounds good, but the battery life is abysmal. This, and the fact that the battery got old is why I got a new battery.
