Hi,

What brand of ram is the 2x512?
It could be a limitation of the motherboard but Socket A Amd cpu's do like to run in sync with the cpu, in other words both at 333mhz.

I doubt you will see any "real" differance when clocking the ram at 333.

I had a Abit board that did that same thing but when I overclocked the cpu up to almost 200 fsb the thing would then allow the ram to run at 200.

Now I am not saying to overclock your cpu because it would requirer better cooling and good ram to get it to that speed and it problably ain't worth the bother with all the tinkering but both your 2500 and the board are capable of it.

You could also try uping the ram voltage just a notch to see if that helps
