I've got Spyware Doctor, among other solutions and it seems to be OK, but not great.
It was on rebate and has been praised, so I thought I would try it out.
Polished and easy GUI, but a big footprint IMHO. So much so that it is relegated to on-demand scanning duties only on my old PIII 500.
A newer more robust rig would likely handle it fine.

I wouldn't buy it again simply because I feel that I can match it with free/shareware very easily and I don't like its system resource appetite.

If I had to give up my freeware AS/AA array for one paid-for solution it would be Webroot Spysweeper. Aggressive updates, very good support and I have a couple of friends whose infected comps were literally rescued by Webroot.

Regards,
JF
