If I am understanding what you are saying (correct me if I misunderstood), then you need to turn that fan upside down. The CPU fan must be blowing cool air DOWN ON THE HEATSINK and not pulling hot air up from the processor.
(atm temp runing at 49degrees with itunes and msn running mainly)
