Exclamation Bios Partitioning

Hello.
When I bought my PC late last year, I was given the option to create a 'hidden partition' by my Phoenix BIOS. I created a 30GB partition on my 120GB hard Drive. When I installed Windows XP the partition was not there, and all that remained was my C:\ Drive, now at 80GB. I followed instructions in the manual to change the partition settings in my BIOS by pressing LShift and F12 at startup but all I get is 'No Proper HDD found'. Does anyone know how I can get this lost 30GB back?

Thank you.
