boy, i just installed the newest Notebook Hardware Control program and it is a life safer. no more high speed fans when connecting the DC adapter!

anyone have any recommendations on, if feasible, opening the notebook to clean out heatsink? i have a feeling there is a lot of lint inside.

also, as far as numbers go, how hot is too hot, regarding short term and long term damage? i have a 1.8 ghz centrino in my asus w3v, and once after playing a game for an hour, my temps go to freakin 83c/181f
