OK, don't ask me how, but since my last post I have done nothing to the machine but while sitting at the desktop I heard the laptop beep. On checking, it was a McAfee update that had downloaded! Then another right on the back of that. So I jumped into Firefox and my homepage came straight up :)

So somehow, not sure exactly how, it has resolved itself. Im hoping it doesnt disappear just as quickly :)

So Im sending this from the laptop, finally :)

I'll run the online Panda scan anyway, but hopefully won't be seeing you ;)
