I didn't run the chkdsk. I haven't had the time too run it and I also don't have an xp cd, so I didn't do that procedure also. Just for the hell of it I called my grandmother because she also has the same ISP and she said she had a similar problem for a few days and they told her too unplug her modem for minute and then plug it back in and it's been running fine ever since. When I tried that it didn't resolve the problem. If those logs didn't reveal anything then I'm starting too belive it's not my computer, but a problem with my ISP.
