Thanks for replying. That was an interesting article. If I had money to drop on stuff like that I just might. But for the moment, if there is not a workable software solution I am much more likely to go with a fan with a sensor coltrol of its own, such as this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811999145 rather than drop much more money.

Any other ideas?
