That would be a bummer if it only works for the cpu fan. Anyone else know if that is right or not?

If that is right, anyone know of any other software controllers before I go out and find a new fan.

oh, by the way, I was only running one HD when i installed the fan and that was the only thing that changed in the system and the noise went way up. So I know in my situation that that is the problem.
That plus the fact that I kinda got screwed into taking this fan in the end when i knew from the beginning it would be loud.
