P4P800 E-Deluxe Fan question

hey all,

Got a question for you that I have searched for but not been able to find a good answer to.

Long story short here is I have a 120mm case fan in my system that is way loud. I have it plugged into the pwr_fan connector on the board.

What I would like to know is if there is any software available to control this fan based on the temp in the box. It is running full speed all the time right now and it really really doesnt need to be.

I know the easiest solution would be to go drop another 10-15 bucks on a quieter fan, but i would rather do this free. (otherwise my wife gives me a hard time about it I know, sad.)

Anyway. I have read about the Q-Fan thing that comes with the board, but i didnt know what setting i would want to put it at or wether it will adjust the fan speed based on the temp or not.

Anybody help me out here?

Thanks.
