I had a similar problem with my ASUS mobo because I had changed a setting in the bios and the system kept crashing. The ASUS bios recovery would not reset so I had to clear cmos manually, I was so Pi$$ed I thought I would have to rebuild the whole system. Take the battery out of the motherboard and wait 5 minutes then clear the cmos by moving the jumper to the other setting then put the jumper battery back in. I had to try this 5 different ways until the cmos finally cleared. good Luck!
