My System

I don't see anything in the log that would cause that folder to startup. Try holding down the ctrl (also try shift if ctrl method didn't work) and then click the X button to close it out. Restart and see if it comes back. If it does, go to Start->Run and type in msconfig and hit OK. Then go to the Startup tab and uncheck one of the following entries:

NvCplDaemon
NVMixerTray
NvMediaCenter


Just uncheck one and restart your computer. See if the folder pops back up. If not, check it back and go on to the next one there. All 3 entries above are related to the nVidia graphics card.
