My system is running about the same as it was before overall, but no longer freezes when opening or saving files, which was quite an annoyance to have to CAD a process everytime i tried to. CPU useage is down to something like 5-10% most of the times.
Looks like i should be done. Thanks a lot, you gave me excellent and clear advice.
