Clear your IE cookies. Start>Settings>Control Panel>Internet Options>General tab>under Temporary files, click on Delete Cookies
Delete these files:
C:\WINDOWS\ALCHEM.INI
C:\WINDOWS\keyboard1.dat
C:\WINDOWS\kwv2.dat
C:\WINDOWS\smdat32m.sys
C:\WINDOWS\TWAINTEC.INI
If they resist deletion, boot to safe mode and delete them from there.
- Open HiJackThis
- Click on the configure button on the bottom right
- Click on the tab "Misc Tools"
- Click on the Box that says "Open Uninstall Manager"
- Highlight the following entries if present, then click "Delete"
- When it asks if you are sure, click "Yes"
