There are many temp cleaners.

ATF-Cleaner
Index.dat
CCleaner
CleanUp!

Etc... all have different features.

I use CCleaner when I want to be thorough, and clean other areas such as the registry and Most Recently Used items etc...

CleanUp is used as we can customise what it removes, such as temp files needed by Windows. Other temp cleaners may be careless.

So to answer your question - it's a preference.
