Yes, because before installing BitSpirit I used VirusTotal and Jotti's Malware Scan to check the installer. By the way, I think those redundant entries don't appear anymore. I reenabled my shields once more, and everything's still alright.

I have a question, though: I read some of the logs posted here, and someone recommended downloading Index.dat Suite for clean-up. You required CleanUp! to be downloaded, and as far as I know I think both programs perform the same tasks as CCleaner. Am I right?

Index.dat Suite cleans up temporary files, history, cookies and the like. That's what CleanUp! and CCleaner do as well. So I ask: is there any fundamental difference among these programs, or is it a matter of preference from you experts?

I clean my computer often with CCleaner and I really don't see any differences. If you know what these differences are, kindly please elaborate on them and explain them to an amateur at this field.

Thank you once again.
