Hi Ried. K .. coupla things. As I said this is a friend's machine. He had to collect it - his daughter needed to do some school work. So it'll be this evening before I can do anything more. Sorry.
The Modem Lock business .. I had contacted BT the guy's ISP who supply that software. They advise me to reinstall his Internet Connection and have given me full instructions to do so online.
The WinPFind. I can't get into Safe Mode so should I try that in Normal ?
