Now this is funny... or is it? (From XP)

Hello I am a person that usually has no problems with computers....

A know how to resolve most hardware issues, run diagonistics, flash hardware, etc., but I have done none of the sort on this current windows installation.

I have had some problems with certain processes terminating and not starting properly.

A little while back:
When I started winamp on top of Creative's included software, my soundcard stopped giving sound, but it registered as normal. When I started Creative's program and ran music, then booted world of warcraft, the sound card again did not register. I then ran a full virus scan with AVG free edition, and a full adware spyware check with Adaware, spybot s&d, and some others (yes they all are trusted). No adware or spyware and no viruses. Clean for the past 7 months and counting according to these tools.

Today:
I boot my computer today, explorer.exe apparently did not have one of its things loaded, no error message. Nothing functions except control panel, could not reboot explorer.exe... Went to create a highjack this log, pretty recent version, displayed this error message.... Also sometimes my linksys fails to start, and I have to start the program manually. And additionally, sometimes if I were to press the start button after booting, the computer would bottleneck on something for about two minutes and then open my documents 7 times in explore mode. That gives me a good laugh because it is so strange. (Windows is so weird, I'm thinking about learning linux)

PC SPECS: Fully updated Windows XP w/ sp2
AMD anthlon xp 3200+ with 1500 RAM
ATI graphic 128 bit
Soundblaster Audigy 2 Platinum
2 hard drives, one seagate set as slave, one a 160gig HP included Maxtor with hidden partition
Onboard display (included with HP) disabled via bios
Linksys ethernet adapter disabled
Only USB linksys wireless adapter hooked via usb, all other usb open

ok.. as I was typing this I tried HijackThis again for the 7th time and got a logfile....

Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1

I wish I didn't have this many processes, and I was going to research some of them. My system idles at .089% CPU use with random bursts from various programs, only taking a second or so, and my pagefile always at 227 MB. My kernal times are also always half the CPU usage.

If I have managed somehow not to provide any information, please tell me and Thanks in Advance! And good luck.
