when i boot into dos
the cd rom works
i can copy and run files off of it
i'd say that means it works, right?

i just tried another almost brand new 350watt power supply too

kept reading a bunch of stuff on the mup.sys error that was saying things along the lines of it being a power supply problem and what not.. so figured i'd try it..

still getting the same errors though =(

and even if i can't get the xp setup to run through boot disks
we're just making more problems for us to solve

why am i getting the CMOS checksum error?
why is it freezing at mup.sys when i try booting into windows?

if i wasn't getting the cmos checksum error, i could just boot from the cd..
then all would be well..

so why don't we focus on fixing that?

i'm sorry if you've got a plan, it just seems to me that if i fix that problem, then the others will all start comming together..
