Evening everyone :)

I'm stuck!
Got a brand new PC, turns on, but wow, how loud is that !
Its not far off the sound of a hair dryer !
Whether its relevant, it cost £300 ($500) for the base unit, ASROCK motherboard, with 3.0ghz Intel Prescott processor, but running it, my god, its loud... So i guess, the people who sell this range of computer sell it with cheap components right ???
So the Fan on top of the CPU must be a crap one, and dish's out a lot of noise..........
What do I do now, to get it quieter ? Just go and buy another CPU fan, swap them over, jobs a good un ?
I got an old PC with a Intel P3 chip in it with a quiet fan i guess, could i use that fan on the new processor ?

Oh, and looking in the BIOS, i think it said the fan or cpu was running at 5800rpm ?
