Hi Daniel,

Again, depending on how many programs are running when you shut down the computer, 30 to 40 seconds isn't really that long. Let's check another area:

Start > Control Panel, double click Administrative Tools, and in the list, open up the Event Viewer.

Look for any Errors or Warnings in the right hand window when you highlight Application or System, preferably for times on or just before you shut down the computer.

What we're looking for are the Errors from the System and Application viewers. You'll see something like this: Application Error...

Locate the ones with a big red X that say error. Double click to open it. Hit the Tablet (Says Copy to Clipboard if you hover mouse over it) and then CNT+V to paste the info into here.
