Yes i cleaned off the old thermal paste and the arctic silver product is what i am using and i applyed it before putting the heatsink and fan on
I've flipped the ribbon cable on the floppy over and it does light up but it just stays lit and doesn't spin to search for a disk.
I don't have another computer with an agp slot to test it on but i bought it brand new so realistically it should work fine
I don't know what the boot order is because i get nothing on the screen (stays in standby) but I'll try putting the win xp in the drive...I'll let you know
