So currently I have 2x512mb Corsair XMS DDR 400 (pretty sure it is unregistered) and I want to put a 1GB stick in my 3rd slot, but I am not sure if it needs to be registered or unregistered RAM. I have read that some MBs will only take unregistered ram in the first 2 slots but that the third and/or fourth slot needs to be registered, but that you cannot mix unregistered and registered.Anyone know? Thanks!
