I have been in combat. George Bush has not but he certainly contributed to the United State military suring that crucial time in our history. To argue against that minimizes and reserve members service and contributions to any war effort.
I dont believe that serving in the miltary with a honorable discharge is background enough for the presidency. Just like Harriet Miers isnt qualified for the supreme court.
Judge Salito will be well received by your extreme conservative base after all I dont doubt that why GW & company propped up Harriet Miers to begin with to pave the way for Salito. Its a win win for GW (which I dont mind one bit) If Miers would have made it all the way ~~ then fine another woman is one the court ~~ but if she wasnt well received for her lack of judicial experience then we can pop in another candidate that certainly is.
Just out of curosity / what makes Charles Schumer so liberal ??????? is there some stand he has taken that is for far left to warrant such a label.

It just dawned on me / I bet your an avid follower of Rush Limbaugh now there is a fountain of intelligence,
I think we can both agree to disagree with each others political views / I have enjoyed our discussions very much and it has made me look closer at "your" side of the fence / even thoguh I am more content with my position of the middle.
