Here are the facts:
In November 1970, Lt. Col. Jerry B. Killian, the commander of the Texas Air National Guard, recommended that Bush be promoted to First Lieutenant, calling him "a dynamic outstanding young officer" who stood out as "a top notch fighter interceptor pilot." He said that "Lt. Bush's skills far exceed his contemporaries," and that "he is a natural leader whom his contemporaries look to for leadership. Lt. Bush is also a good follower with outstanding disciplinary traits and an impeccable military bearing." On October 1, 1973, Bush was honorably discharged from the Texas Air National Guard and transferred to the inactive reserves in Denver, Colorado. He was discharged from the Air Force Reserve on November 21, 1974.

A great and honorable service record if you ask me. It so funny to me to hear you go on and on about how you have the utmost respect for our military but you exploit for political purposes a fine persons military record. You should be ashamed! I cannot take you seriously when you say you have the respect for our military when you try to take away someones military service. Pitty on you!

I was very disappointed that John McCain was suuported in stead of GW / but I see why now >> the conservatives would not be able to control McCain as they are GW.

May I point out that Charles Shumar said
"...she (hariet miers) clearly lacked the knowlege of constitional law to be placed on americas high court." I am assuming that you mean "control" to be how GW "gave into the radical right wing", am i right in that assumtion? It would seem as though there is a double standard here hmm... George Bush gave into radical right wing....last time i checked Charles Shumar was not on the right.

I sure would feel alot better if the Iraqi's would fight for themselves as hard and as committed as the "terrorists"

I agree with you here it would make me fell better too. There will be a day when Iraqi's will fight for themselves. History will give the United States credit for this war, as long as we don't elect a leader who will abandon the Iraqi's that would make this seem like a mirror to Vietnam.
