LAN Problems

Ok, today I had cable internet installed. I bought a cable Linksys Gateway, basically it has a router, modem, and wifi all in one. Both of my computers can access the internet perfectly, but when trying to set up a home network, I encounter problems.

On my computer if I try to access \\home-d (the other computer), I get a Logon Failure: The user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer, and if I use the other computer and try to access \\home-a (my computer) I get a can not find \\home-a error. I found a program that supposedly does it for you "Network Magic", it detected both computers, their names and everythign, and when I used mine to access the other, I get the same logon failure error, but when I use the other to access mine, the folder I tried sharing shows up grey on that computer, but not on mine. I don't know what to do.

If it comes to it I can show remote access via MSN.

I have tried disabling windows firewall on both computers and the firewall on the other computer, this one doesn't have any.
