Can you get into Safe Mode with Networking? Try IE there and see if it works. If it does, you still have spyware/virus issues. I would recommend going to
http://housecall.antivirus.com and run the free virus and spyware scans from that site. They do a pretty good job, and can be run in Safe Mode.
