My CD is still not working although the drawer operates normally. Once the disc is in a green light comes on but then goes off and thats it. It doesn't read anything, including audio.
AVG pops up now and again to say it has found something infected. I just click heal and it does.
Do you think the AVG thing and the CD problem are connected?
New CD player is about £10 so might just replace it to eliminate that from the puzzle, although it does seem a bit of a coincidence.
