You must save the file as fixjb.reg or it will not be a registry merge action. Are you saying you successfully saved it as a registry file but no action occurred?

Download it & rename it "fixjb.REG" (inclusive of the quotes)
Make sure you do not mistakenly rename it as fixjb.reg.txt (double extensions)
Double-click on it & answer YES when prompted to merge into the Registry

Or...rename it as fixjb.reg, and in the Save as type drop down menu, save it as All Types.

I just ran this on my Win98 machine, and it works for me.....

Also, please respond regarding the file C:\WINDOWS\System32\systr.dll did you find it and delete it?
