I am working on all of your above suggestions to keep my computer clean of viruses. I have much of the software installed and updated. I will read the articles you posted so that I optimize the security features of these programs.

Thank you very much for your help. I would still be futilely trying to get Symantec to clean my computer if you had not directed me on how to get rid of this Trojan. Your service is wonderful!
